One of the things I appreciate so much about Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, my friend of more than thirty years, is his clear appreciation of the dangers the world poses to the Jewish state. In his recent remarks to the AIPAC meeting in Washington, he said:
“The Jewish people know the cost of being defenseless against those who would exterminate us. We will never let that happen again. Joe Biden described his meeting with Golda Meir. She said to him: our secret weapon is we have no other place to go. Well, we have our place under the sun. And ladies and gentlemen, we shall defend it.”
Make no mistake about this vital truth–not only does Israel have no other place to go, but the enemies of Israel know that as well. They are focusing their efforts to bring down death and destruction on the Jewish state and the Jewish people. Though these evil forces make no secret of their aims and have stated them publicly, most of the world is turning away and ignoring the existential threat facing Israel. But you and I are not!
I am going to Israel next week on an urgent mission as your ambassador. The next few weeks are literally some of the most critical times in the entire modern existence of the nation of Israel. The Jewish state is surrounded by enemies. The future of the government of Israel is uncertain. We must stand for God’s Chosen People now as never before.
And I urgently need your financial help as well. The work of the Jerusalem Prayer Team is vital, but we cannot continue without your support. This effort is completely supported by our members–friends like you who share our belief in the power of prayer and our love for Israel and the Jewish people.

In less than three weeks, the celebration of Passover begins. This is a holy and sacred time of year. The weeklong Feast of Unleavened Bread is a celebration of God’s deliverance and protection for His people. But for the poor and hungry, especially for the elderly Holocaust survivors, it is anything but a happy time.
Today I’m asking you to help us provide food for the Seder and the week of Passover for these precious people. I will be there in Jerusalem to represent you as we share the message of hope and Christian love with them. Your gift today will provide meals for the hungry–meeting one of their most urgent needs.
In faith, I have told the director of our outreach to go ahead and plan for a Passover party and a major food distribution, but we can’t do this unless you help. Please send your gift today to bless the Holocaust survivors of Jerusalem and the poor of the house of Israel.
When you send your gift today, we will send you a beautiful Jerusalem peace print. Since the City of David is the focal point of the enemy’s attack, it must be the focal point of our prayers as well. Suitable for framing, this lovely picture will be a constant reminder to you to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
If you are able to send a gift of $77 or more, we will send you the print and an amazing resource–the Rose Book of Maps, Charts & Timelines. This is a Bible study tool that has something for everyone. It will give you a new level of insight into the times, customs, and places of the people of the Word and a new level of knowledge concerning what is coming next.
Your support of the Jerusalem Prayer Team allows us to continue our work on the Christian Zionist Heritage Center, to stand up and speak out for Israel, and to meet urgent humanitarian needs among the poor Jewish people living in Israel. Thank you so much for being part of this vital worldwide prayer movement.
Barukh atah Adonai eloheinu melekh ha-olam, ozier Yisrael bigvurah.
Blessed art thou, Lord our God, King of the universe, who girds Israel with might.
Your ambassador to Jerusalem,
From Mike Evans the founder of the Jerusalem Prayer Team
