Police File on Newtown Shooting to be Released Friday.

The planned release Friday of thousands of pages of police documents from the investigation into last year’s school massacre in Newtown could shed light on the world of the 20-year-old gunman.

State police said their report totaling several thousand pages would be released at 3 p.m. The report “has been redacted according to law,” and includes text, photos and 911 calls received by state police, they said Thursday.

Prosecutors issued a summary of the investigation last month that portrayed the gunman, Adam Lanza, as obsessed with mass murders, but the report concluded that Lanza’s motives for the massacre might never be known.

The summary report referred to items found on a computer at Lanza’s house that included writings detailing relationships, personal beliefs, a daily schedule, desires, goals and other topics.

Lanza gunned down 20 first-graders and six educators with a semi-automatic rifle at Sandy Hook Elementary School on Dec. 14, 2012, after killing his mother inside their home. He committed suicide with a handgun as police arrived at the school.

The summary says Lanza had “significant mental health issues.”

The report said that in 2005, Lanza was diagnosed with Asperger’s disorder, a mild form of autism that is not associated with violence, and that he lacked empathy for others and behaved strangely. Nobody was allowed into his room, he wouldn’t touch doorknobs, his food had to be arranged on the plate in a certain way and he changed clothes often during the day, according to the report.

In fifth grade, Lanza wrote “The Big Book of Granny,” in which the main character has a gun in her cane and shoots people, and another character talks of liking to hurt people, especially children. The book was among items seized from Lanza’s home, but there was no indication he ever handed in the book at school.

Lanza became obsessed with the 1999 bloodbath at Columbine High in Colorado and other mass killings, the report said. He even kept a spreadsheet ranking mass murders.

Newtown To Vaporize All Evidence Of What Happened At Sandy Hook School Shooting.

Google the Columbine school shooting and you will find no overt conspiracy theories attached to it. You will get the same results for Fort Hood and Virginia Tech as well. So why is the Sandy Hook School shooting  – whatever really happened there -being treated with a disproportionate sense of secrecy and urgency?

Could it be the “crisis actors” that kept popping up in all the news photos? Or perhaps it was the complete lack of documentation that a school shooting had actually occurred. Maybe it’s the complete absence of any photographic proof of dead bodies, or what is obviously staged, emotionless actors walking around in circles.

Or, maybe it was this poorly trained actor pretending to be a grieving father caught on a hot mic laughing when he thought the camera was not yet on. We invite you to watch these 3 videos and make up your own mind.

Whatever it is, one thing is for sure. This school is not simply being torn down, it is being vaporized at the molecular level to prevent anyone or anything from discovering the truth of what happened there that day.

NY Daily News: When the demolition is done, almost every trace of the doomed Newtown school will be gone. The bricks and glass that once comprised the Sandy Hook Elementary School will be pulverized.

The steel that supported the structure where a madman with a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle massacred 20 first graders and six brave staff members will be melted down.

And all of it will be hauled off to what officials are calling an “undisclosed location” to spare the Connecticut town more trauma.

Only the memory of the horrors that happened on Dec. 14 — and dust from the debris — will remain when the school is razed next week.

“We want to be absolutely certain to do everything we can to protect the privacy of the families and the Sandy Hook community,” town official Patricia Llodra told the Associated Press.

“We’re going to every possible length to eliminate any possibility that any artifacts from the building would be taken from the campus and . . . end up on eBay.”

Demolition is expected to be finished before the first anniversary of the massacre.

In its place, Newtown will build a new school funded by a $49.3 million state grant.

The destruction — and the construction — will be handled by a project management company called Consigli Construction, which has been sworn to secrecy, The News-Times of Danbury, Conn., reported.

Barricades will be erected around the work site. Security guards will be posted to keep the curious away. And construction workers may be subjected to background checks and will be forbidden to discuss what they are doing. source – NY Daily News.

Poll: 48 Blame Mental Health System for Mass Shootings.

Forty-eight percent of Americans blame the mental health system “a great deal” for mass shootings in the United States — though fewer told Gallup in its latest survey that gun-control laws should be made stricter.

The 48 percent figure was unchanged from January 2011, Gallup said on Friday.

The latest survey of 1,023 adults was conducted Sept. 17-18, the days immediately following the Washington Navy Yard shooting.

Aaron Alexis, 34, a discharged Navy reservist and subcontractor, entered the property with a shotgun and killed 12 people before he was gunned down by police.

Alexis had been treated since August by the Veterans Administration for mental-health issues, the FBI said.

The January 2011 survey was taken by Gallup shortly after the Tucson, Ariz. massacre that killed six people and injured 12 others, including U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

In addition, fewer Americans in the latest poll blamed easy access to guns for mass shootings — 40 percent, versus 46 percent two years ago — making the nation’s mental health system “the perceived top cause of such incidents,” Gallup said.

While the Navy Yard shooting renewed the gun-control debate on Capitol Hill, fewer Americans — 49 percent — told Gallup that stricter gun laws were needed.

That compared with 58 percent in December, when Gallup surveyed Americans after the shootings in Newtown, Conn., in which 26 people, including 20 school children, were killed by Adam Lanza.

Lanza, 20, whom police said was mentally ill, had shot and killed his mother before driving to Sandy Hook Elementary School, where the other shootings took place. He fatally shot himself in the head as first responders arrived.

“The current result represents just slightly more support for stricter laws than Gallup found between 2009 and 2011,” the survey research firm said.
